Following on from our popular range of media baskets for
the larger Flex aquariums, we bring you our unique design
for the baby Flex.
Chamber 1 can accommodate just the "floss basket" - this
hangs on the rear of the intake and is used to skim the surface
by adjusting the weir which in turn guides the water into a top
layer of floss. The second compartment can hold whatever media
or treatment you require for your tank.
Below the floss basket you can place basket 2 which is a larger
layered media basket (or fuge) with removable shelves for
your customisation. This basket is designed so that the water
flows top to bottom through the media and is then forced up
and over into chamber 2.
Chamber 2 can accommodate another layered media basket (or fuge)
which again, can be filled with your required media. This also forces
the water down through the media and out into chamber 3 for heating
and returning to the display.
You can mix and match the designs to suit your needs.
Note: The original intake guards do not work when chamber 1 baskets
are installed.
